Clean Air Made Easy
Purchase a replacement cabin air filter for your car only once. K&N’s cabin air filters are reusable—when it comes time for replacement, simply take it out, clean it, and put it back in. The filters clean the air that enters your car’s cabin through the HVAC system, removing dirt, dust particles, and other allergens, even leaves and possibly rodent droppings. Without clean air, the HVAC system can work too hard and potentially burn up the air conditioner’s motor.
The factory-fitted and pre-treated filters feature a urethane panel construction that will last up to 10 years or 1 million miles. They are also electrostatically charged to hold the intruding dust and dirt. Integrated tabs ease installation and removal, while a one-piece seamless sealing bead keeps unfiltered air from passing through. An epoxy-resin-coated mesh protects the filter.
How to Clean K&N Cabin Air Filters
Not all vehicles have a cabin air filter as it’s relatively new for U.S. cars. Your owner’s manual will let you know if your car has one and where it’s located. They’re commonly found either under the dashboard, behind the glove compartment, or under the hood near the windshield. It is recommended to service your vehicle’s cabin air filter once every 12 months or 12,000 miles.
